For the first time ever, the CUNA Operations, Sales & Service Council conference and the CUNA Technology Council conference will be held at the same time and place. It's a tag team of epic proportions! You can expect the same great conference, but with added benefits, such as access to more sessions, attendees, and networking opportunities.

Having two conferences held side by side will give you even more takeaways and “bang for your buck.” For example, is there a breakout session at the other conference that looks interesting? Look no further. The CUNA Operations, Sales & Service Council has just the program. Our Partners program provides you with an opportunity to show your support while gaining a high-profile image with the country's premier credit union operations, sales & service professionals. Here's a chance to have the attention of more than 200 credit union executives all in one place.

Through the Partners program, you'll be able to sponsor popular social events and dynamic educational sessions that give the OpSS Council conference its unique feel and flavor. There's no need to staff an exhibit booth and hope that the right participants stop by. The Partners program allows you to mix and mingle with all participants while showing financial support in a public way. Your support will earn the respect of executives, and the thanks of the OpSS Council through signage, the program guide, and other public recognition. In addition, it will allow you the opportunity to discuss your services/products in detail to a captive audience.

Participation in our Partners program will mean a high profile with just the right credibility, attracting the attention of the most influential group of credit union operations, sales & service professionals.

Vendors can attend the conference through the sponsorship program by selecting an event and completing the sponsor signup form.

How Does The Program Work?

We offer FOUR different levels of sponsorship opportunities:

PLATINUM | GOLD | SILVER | BRONZE

You can decide which sponsorship fits your needs and budget. Please see the descriptions below for specific details of each.
Included with every sponsorship is:

  • One complimentary conference registration if you sponsor at the Silver or Bronze Level; two complimentary conference registrations if you sponsors at the Gold or Platinum Level.
  • Additional registrations for your company may be purchased at the council member early bird rate of $799;
  • Attractive display signage posted at the sponsored event;
  • Inclusion of your company name, company description, contact information and website in the sponsorship listing of the conference handbook, used throughout the conference;
  • A link to your company's web site from the conference section of the OpSS Council web site at the conclusion of the conference;
  • Access to the attendee contact information;
  • Opportunities for discreet literature distribution;
  • Public recognition at several of the conference general sessions; and
  • Endless networking opportunities.
  • Opportunity to purchase display space to use throughout the conference for an additional $1,000. This option is complimentary with all Platinum Sponsorships.

Partner Options

Events marked as "reserved:" 2009 Sponsors have until mid-February to determine whether they will sponsor the same event in 2010. After that date, reserved signs will change to either "sold" or "available."

The initial gathering point for all attendees. Complimentary beverages and plenty of appetizers to help generate enthusiasm for the conference. Sponsor receives exclusive signage and podium recognition.

Signage thanking sponsor, recognition throughout conference. Opportunity to welcome participants to the luncheon with a one-minute summary of your company’s products, and a table for literature at the luncheon.

Closing Speaker ($5,000; one opportunity)
Signage thanking sponsor, public recognition during the opening ceremonies. Opportunity to introduce speaker with one minute summary of your company's products.
Cooler Lunch Tote ($5,000)
Your logo and company name will appear on the lunch tote that attendee will use during the luncheon roundtable cafe conversations.
Internet Café ($4,000; two opportunities)
For the convenience of our participants, an Internet Café will be available on-site during conference meeting hours to download information and access email messages. Two working stations will be available for the entire conference. Sponsor can put company screensaver on terminal, provide literature, hang posters and provide give-aways in Internet Café space.

Breakfasts ($4,000; three opportunities)
Signage thanking sponsor, recognition throughout conference. A table for literature at the breakfast.
Name Badge Holders ($4,000)
Your company name will appear on the OpSS and Technology Council conference attendee lanyards.
Conference Program Guide ($5,000; one opportunity)
Sponsor's name and logo and a full-page color ad will appear on the inside cover of the Program Guide.
Attendee Hotel Key Cards ($4,000)

Breakout Sessions ($3,000; multiple opportunities)
Signage thanking sponsor, public recognition during the opening ceremonies plus a table for literature distribution at the breakout session.
Preconference Workshop ($3,000; two opportunities available)
Signage thanking sponsor, public recognition during the opening ceremonies and a table for literature distribution at the workshop.
Conference Pens ($3,000)
Attractive pen in which your name and website, along with the council brand, will appear.
Pocket Agenda ($3,000)
Your logo will appear on the inside front cover of the pocket agenda, which is 3.75" x 4.5".
Newspaper Distribution ($3,000)
Provide a newspaper door drop for each conference attendee for two mornings. We will place a sticker with the sponsor logo on each delivered newspaper.
Conference Scholarship ($2,500)
Provide a $2,500 scholarship to a CUNA OpSS Council member (or prospect). Your sponsorship will cover the conference registration fee, hotel and travel expenses for an attendee who might not otherwise be able to participate. The scholarship recipient must be a current OpSS member or qualifying member who is not already registered for the conference. They must stay at the designated conference hotel. You can select the recipient as long as they meet stated criteria.
Refreshment Breaks ($2,500; two of five opportunities available)
Signage thanking sponsor, public recognition during opening ceremonies and a table for literature distribution at the refreshment break.

Display Tables: After you sponsor an event, you may purchase a display for an additional $1000 to use for literature throughout the conference. Space is limited. This option is complimentary with all Platinum Sponsorships.

What Activities Are Not Permitted?

The purpose of the Partners Program is to provide vendors with the opportunity to support the annual conference and in return receive considerable name recognition and direct networking opportunities. We request that our Partners use good judgment and business practices while interacting with our attendees. Activities or behaviors considered less than productive jeopardize the value of the conference for our attendees and may result in termination of the Partner relationship.

No activities may be scheduled at any time that will draw participants away from sessions or other conference activities.

Use of the email addresses of the registrants is prohibited without the prior approval of Council Administration. Please email all samples to bbischke@cuna.com prior to distribution.

Any activity not sanctioned by the CUNA Councils may not be advertised as part of the Partners Program. The Council reserves the right to prohibit distribution of non-sanctioned materials within the designated conference areas of the hotel.

Participation in the Partners Program should not be viewed as an endorsement by the Council.

What Are The Deadlines?

In order to get your name in the conference materials, sponsorship payment will have to be processed no later than July 31, 2010. Sponsorship is always welcome, but agreements made after that date may not be mentioned in the Conference Program Guide. Payment must be made prior to sponsorships being accepted. We do not guarantee the availability of any opportunity until we receive written confirmation of intent and establish its availability. Payment must be made within 15 days of confirmation. It is best to commit and remit payment early.

Cancellation Policy:
Refunds will be issued until five weeks prior to the start of the conference. No refunds will be available after this date.  All cancellations must be submitted in writing. For more information, call us at (800) 356-9655, ext. 4018.
